Information you provide

Our contact and quote forms ask for your name, email address, phone number and information about the work you need. Depending on the form, this may include your address, vehicle details or VIN, the type of glass, and a message. Provide only information relevant to your request. Do not send payment card details, passwords or identity documents through these forms.

Why we ask for it

We use enquiry details to respond to you, discuss glass repair or replacement requirements, prepare a quote and arrange service. Sending an enquiry asks us to contact you about that request; it does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

How enquiries are sent

On our main website, the form sends your enquiry to the SEK Glass email inbox. The website does not create a customer account or a separate database record from a form submission. If you choose an email-app option instead, your email provider sends the message when you press Send in that app. Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver these services.

Security and technical information

The form uses spam checks and an IP-based submission limit. A coded version of the connection IP address is used for that limit. Hosting services may also record connection details, such as IP addresses and request times, in security and operational logs. Please contact us before sending sensitive information so we can discuss an appropriate way to share it.

Cookies, Facebook and other links

The website itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It includes a Facebook Like/Share feature supplied by Meta. Loading that feature can connect your browser to Meta, which may receive technical information or use cookies under its own Privacy Policy. Links to our blog and other websites take you to separate services; check the privacy information on those services before providing personal information.

Keeping information

Enquiries sent by email remain in business correspondence and may form part of service records. The website does not automatically delete messages from the business inbox. Contact us to ask about the retention of a particular enquiry or to request deletion; service records and applicable legal requirements may affect what can be deleted.

Your choices and privacy questions

You can contact us to request access to or correction of personal information you provided, ask about its use, or withdraw consent for future enquiry-related contact. We may need to verify your identity before discussing personal records. Withdrawing information needed to prepare a quote or arrange service may prevent us from completing that request.
